Executive Presence can be tough to grow because the definition is often ambiguous. It tends to take on a slightly different meaning for everyone. Early in my career I often found myself confused when I'd hear a leader say, "I just know executive presence when I see it. I also know when I don't see it." The lack of concrete variables can make a plan to grow executive presence a bit tricky.
