If you've ever felt like you're running on the verge of EMPTY, try these quick fixes to fill your tank. A little bit goes a long way AND it helps you focus on something that is 100% in your control.
Commit to one, or several, every day to keep your engine humming and get ahead of unexpected potholes and bumps in the road.
1. Look up at the sky (20 seconds).
2. Send a gratitude/uplift text to someone.
3. Breathe - 5 intentional breaths.
4. Get outside. Take a 5-minute sensory walk.
5. Play a song.
6. Do your Power Pose for two minutes.
7. Use an app like Headspace, Calm, or Insight Timer for a quick guided meditation.
8. Think of 3 things for which you are thankful.
9. Rub your fingertips together so you can feel your fingerprints.
10. Choose a color. Count how many things you see that are that color.
11. Do 5 jumping jacks, 20 dips, and/or 10 squats.
12. Undulate pressure on your feet to find each of your toes.
