Lately, I've been pondering significant life transitions, considering both the ones we navigate smoothly and those that pose greater challenges. (And ones I'm pondering at 3am while nursing my baby!) Regardless of the transition, we inevitably emerge on the other side, ideally having grown and learned from the experience. If we're lucky, we are inspired to become braver, set higher goals, acknowledge our true value, and bolster our confidence.
In 2020, I was honored to deliver the commencement speech at my high school alma mater. Reflecting on the transition from high school to college, an aforementioned life transition, I rewatched that speech. I realized the lessons apply not only to recent graduates but to all of us.

And, on another note, I'll share my thoughts on how Disney's "The Little Mermaid" missed the mark by suggesting that a young girl (Ariel) should find her voice by kissing a boy (Prince Eric). I mean…what were they thinking?😊
