Monday: Mindless Social Media Scrolling
Take a break from endless scrolling. Discipline yourself to not scroll through social media today. Delete the app if necessary. Allow space for more meaningful interactions and self-care moments.
Tuesday: Say "No"
It's time to qualify your "yes." Is the person requesting your time absolutely dependent upon your 'ye's or are they simply asking because you've never said 'no?' For a healthier balance, prioritize what truly matters. Say yes to what does, no to what doesn't and lift the overwhelm of an overly-committed schedule.
Wednesday: Move it!
Lack of movement makes us lethargic and cranky. Get up and move! Whether it's a walk, stretch breaks, or a full-blown workout, eliminate stagnation and embrace the benefits of movement. Bonus points when you ask a friend or colleague to join you.
Thursday: Negative Self-Talk
Today, we'll silence that inner critic. Replace self-criticism with self-compassion and positive affirmations. It's about nurturing a kinder relationship with ourselves. Anytime you hear yourself saying, "I can't... I won't... I'm not...," Flip it around to "I can... I will... I am...," and take one action step to prove it!
Friday: Unrealistic Expectations
Are the 10 things on your calendar today ALL must-do's? What are two things that absolutely must get done? Start with those and see if the others shift in priority.
Unburden yourself from unrealistic standards. Set achievable goals and celebrate progress, fostering a more positive and sustainable mindset.
